A science which deals the measurement and evaluation and to control a process variable or any device used directly or indirectly to measure  and control process variable. Is an instrument they are used for pressure, temperature, level, flow, analysis, weight and miscellaneous parameter, system component included gauges, transmitter, indicator, recorders, controllers, alarms, safety shutdown devices, relief valves, control valves and final control devices.
