Spiral Gage

Spiral type measuring element
Is used to measure pressure
Ranges from 18 to 4000 psi
It is made of a thin walled tube flattened on
opposite Side to produce an elliptical cross section
then formed into a spiral when pressure is applied
 into the open end tube tends to uncoil
The pointer is directly connected to the spiral
 to measure equivalent pressure reading
